Cheryl Murray has had a love of movies from a very young age with fond memories of going to the movies with her family. She attended Oakland University with a double in Communication and Journalism. Eventually she decided upon a Masters Degree in Public Administration as she saw the film industry blossoming in Michigan at a time when the Michigan Film Tax Credit was at its highest. She has owned a photography company for nearly a decade where she had the opportunity to do press coverage at various conventions in the movie, anime and video game industries. Cheryl does coverage of movies and anime with Cat with Monocle by way of written articles and podcasts. She also continues to do coverage of photography at conventions as well as products related to the entertainment industry. She also helps budding entertainment industry writers who want to get into the industry by working with them directly so they can develop their skills.
